How To Join
Before joining CMAC you need to be aware of the costs and benefits of membership.

Benefits include:
- contact with a broad group of experienced aeromodellers
- use of a safe and secure flying field
- automatic affiliation with Model Aircraft Association of Australia
- immediate accident insurance coverage
- availability of accredited Instructors and a standard Training Program

Costs include:
- one-time joining fee - currently $150 for seniors, $60 for juniors
- annual membership fee, including MAAA affiliation and insurance - currently $200 / $80
- travel costs to and from the flying field
- cost of a radio-controlled model trainer aircraft

To apply for CMAC membership, follow these steps:
- Download and print Membership Application Form
and
Scale of Fees
- Select your membership grade (senior/junior) and fill in the Membership Application and sign it
- Request an existing CMAC member to nominate you for membership and have that person also sign the Application
- Prepare a cheque payable to CMAC to cover the joining fee and first-year's membership fee
- Post the Application and Cheque to CMAC, PO Box 387, Woden ACT 2606
When your membership application is approved, you will be notified by e-mail, and receive your new MAAA Membership Card and (if you have a 29/36 MHz transmitter) a complimentary CMAC Silvertone Frequency Key.
You will also be provided with the access code required to open the combination locks on the CMAC field access gate and the CMAC club house door.

A range of club merchandise - CMAC hats, caps, polo shirts, badges, decals, frequency keys - are also available for purchase from the Club Secretary or the Club Treasurer.
