Q. What's the benefit to me of the club's insurance?
A. Each year's CMAC membership automatically entitles you to that year's coverage by the MAAA Insurance Policy. This policy provides insurance for Public Liability, Personal Injury and Professional Indemnity.
For more information see Summary of MAAA Insurance Cover 2009/10

Q. Can I only fly at the CMAC field to be covered by insurance?
A. No. Your insurance is provided under a national scheme administered by MAAA. You are covered if you fly legally anywhere in Australia.

A. Call either the CMAC Secretary or the CMAC Membership Registrar.

You should consider the risks involved in unaccompanied flying, particularly those to do with personal injury, especially if you intend to operate a large or powerful model.
